THE INCIDENCE OF RAPE IN THE US MILITARY HAS REACHED EPIDEMIC PROPORTIONS
Since its inception in 2004, The Soldiers Project has provided free, unlimited, confidential psychological counseling to those who have served or expect to serve in the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as to their loved ones.
Our treatment of those suffering not only from PTSD and TBI but also from MST – Military Sexual Trauma – has always been unique in honoring the privacy and dignity of the service members who have the courage to approach us for professional help.
Victims of not only a terrible assault but also a shattering betrayal of trust – a trust in those who were supposedly there to protect them from harm and “have their back” – need private, sensitive, customized care. They should not be subjected to group sessions that could possibly even include their perpetrators. They should not have to try to navigate their way through the same system that failed to keep them safe while they were serving to find the help they need.
The Soldiers Project treats in the private practices of licensed, insured therapists and always maintains absolute confidentiality. We provide a safe haven… for as long as it is needed.
PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY SO WE CAN CONTINUE TO PROVIDE OUR UNIQUE SERVICES
The Soldiers Project has partnered with the creators and supporters of a brilliant film – “The Invisible War” – to bring attention to the issue of Military Sexual Trauma and to help heal those who are suffering its effects.
You will find TSP listed on Not Invisible’s website and on the healing page of their resources list.

Without the services that The Soldiers Project provides, this film and the stories of the service members that it tells would be unbearably heartbreaking.
But grief over this deplorable situation does not have to prove crippling when there is something that can be done.
