Dayna Genevieve Hardtman is currently conducting her field practicum at the Hollywood Veterans Center. She is thrilled to be a part of The Soldiers Project’s mission to embed mental health care practitioners to aid veterans. Currently, she is an MSW Candidate at Columbia University focusing on Advanced Clinical Practice with a concentration in International Social Welfare. She is also a recipiant of the Cohen Veteran Network Scholarship for her commitment to enhance the well-being of veterans. Dayna received her first Masters in Comparative Ethnic Conflict, which resulted in work in various countries deeply affected by conflict. Her objective after seeing the aftermath of war in deeply traumatized societies is to gain expertise in innovative clinical interventions that can alleviate combat trauma and reduce the effects of PTSD on survivors of war.
